Jalsu Pass – one of the most beautiful pass in western Himalayas laden with thousand varieties of Flora often also The Flower Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Jalsu Pass is basically an outline of Dhauladhar Mountains. Well, most of the mountains is Dhauladhar are barren, laden with slates and brown whereas Jalsu Pass is green, pleasant and full of energy. Jalsu is also the western most side of pass in Western Himalayas which connects Kangra Valley to Chamba Valley historically. Well, when we says Historically we latterly means when there were no transportation sources, when people / shepherds / nomad used to road around for their survival or in search of pasturing land for their cattle, they used to cross one pass to another to approach another side of valley – Jalsu Pass is one of those pass which still known as the well connection between Kangra to Chamba Valley. The treks starts from upper part of Kangra, goes well with mesmerizing Dhauladhar Views and at the second foot of Pass open up with Chamba Valley.
